Meet Dr. Baranee
Dr. Baraneedharan is a Senior Consultant Diabetologist at Kauvery Hospitals, Chennai. He can also be consulted weekday evenings at his private clinic, Sukra Diabetes Care & Research Centre. In the past he has worked with Global Hospitals, Dr V Seshiah Diabetes Research Institute, Dr Balaji Diabetes Care Centre, Apollo Hospitals, Santhosh Hospitals and the Qualitas Medical Group, all in Chennai.
Dr. Baraneedharan completed his MBBS from Stanley Medical College, Chennai and MD (Internal Medicine) from Kilpauk Medical College. He has a Diploma in Industrial Hygiene (DIH) from Annamalai University. In 2010 he obtained the Diploma in Diabetology (D. Diab) from the same University. He is a member of a number of Medical Associations.
Dr. Baraneedharan has organised several Diabetic Medical Camps and Diabetic Awareness education programs. He has also conducted training programs for Doctors, Diabetic Educators, Nurses and Dieticians.
